DAISOGEL Packing and DAISOPAK LC Columns are  'Made in Japan'.

DAISOPAK LC columns uses DAISOGEL packing from DAISO as the 'core', combined with cutting-edge global technology. With both the 'core' and the 'tech', these silica gel packed LC columns are designed for researchers.

DAISOGEL silicone fillers are made using GMP methods, following standardized production control processes. The production standards are strict, ensuring consistent and reliable product quality. They are widely used in the field of chromatography fillers and are recognized by many industry users. At the same time, they come with standardized column packing processes, further ensuring consistent performance and stability between batches of DAISOPAK columns.

DAISOGEL silicone gel fillers are produced under very strict control conditions, which helps keep their particle size distribution, pore size distribution, and specific surface area consistently stable. At the same time, the formation of tiny pores that could reduce performance is minimized. The particles are highly uniform, with a narrow size distribution, which lowers column pressure loss after packing. The stable and controllable effective surface area, combined with bonded functional groups, can improve issues like peak tailing for basic compounds, resulting in sharper and more symmetrical peaks.

DAISOPAK SP-P

DAISOPAK SP-P series columns are made using DAISOGEL ultra-pure spherical fully porous silica as the base material, with metal impurities like aluminum (Al), iron (Fe), titanium (Ti), and zirconium (Zr) all kept below 10 ppm. This series offers high purity and stable physical properties, with a wide range of specifications to meet various separation needs. The SP-100 model, in particular, has a silica surface area of up to 450 m²/g, providing excellent sample loading capacity.

Optional particle size specifications

  1. Analytical DAISOPAK SP-P series chromatography columns: 3 μm, 5 μm
  2. Semi-preparative/preparative DAISOPAK SP-P series columns: 10 μm, 15 μm, 20 μm.

DAISOPAK SP-BIO

When analyzing compounds like peptides and proteins, it's often necessary to perform the analysis elution under acidic conditions and then clean the stationary phase with a basic solution. The BIO series is specifically developed for the separation of biological macromolecules, using a unique bonding technology to improve the stationary phase's resistance to acids and bases.

With differences in pore size, bonding groups, and particle size, there’s a wide range of specifications to choose from. Users can pick the right one based on their target compounds, which can greatly improve peak shape, separation selectivity, and loading capacity.

DAISOPAK SP-ODS-RPS/BP/HP

SP-ODS-RPS

Using high-purity spherical silica gel as the packing material, it's end-capped after bonding with ODS, and the surface of the material shows good inertness. It's suitable for most standard organic compound analyses in reversed-phase columns. The silica surface has sufficient coverage, and combined with a standardized end-capping process, the chromatographic separation is consistently stable. For acidic, basic, and chelating compounds, you can get well-shaped, sharp peaks.

We offer four pore sizes: 60 Å, 120 Å, 200 Å, and 300 Å, so you can choose the one that fits your target molecule's size.

SP-ODS-BP

This special reversed-phase column is specifically designed for retaining weakly or non-retained hydrophilic and polar compounds on other bonded phases, offering enhanced separation selectivity. Its unique bonding technology effectively prevents the hydrophobic collapse commonly seen with traditional ODS phases under high aqueous conditions, so even in pure water, the C18 chains remain extended.

Applicable scenarios:

Typical applications include the separation of biomolecules or metabolites, such as oligosaccharides, amino acids, small peptides, nucleotides, organic acids, and samples of herbal medicines.

  • DAISOPAK SP-ODS-BP series also uses full end-capping technology. Under conventional reversed-phase mobile phase conditions, it shows similar separation selectivity for hydrophobic compounds as regular C18 columns.
  • DAISOPAK SP-ODS-BP series has a stable baseline and high sensitivity, even under neutral pH conditions without buffer salts or ion-pair reagents, making it especially suitable for LC-MS, where adding buffer reagents isn't an option.

SP-ODS-HP

We use DAISOGEL silica gel with the best specific surface area, prepared with high-density alkyl bonding and advanced end-capping process, making it a high-performance stationary phase. The high surface area of the bare silica ensures a high loading capacity and strong retention; higher bonding density improves the separation between peaks; unique end-capping technology and high carbon load expand its pH range. This series of columns is ideal for analyzing small molecules and peptides that are difficult to separate and require very high purification.
