FiberLight® Fiber Optic Light

Product Details Ordering Information Download Materials Related video Application Cases

The FiberLight fiber-optic lamp is a compact ultraviolet–visible light source designed specifically for mobile spectroscopy applications and various types of low-power handheld devices. The FiberLight features a continuous spectrum that covers the entire range from vacuum ultraviolet to near-infrared.

The FiberLight system is a complete UV-Vis light source system that integrates a transmission-designed deuterium lamp, a 0.25 W tungsten lamp, a shutter, an optical system, and an SMA 905 connector in a single unit. All components are mounted on an integrated circuit board powered by a 12 Vdc/600 mA power supply. The deuterium lamp, tungsten lamp, and shutter can be independently controlled via TTL signals.

FiberLight is powered by an external power source, making it an ideal light source for applications with limited space in miniaturized instruments, portable devices, or battery-powered equipment.
