SP-APS-P column is made using ultra-high purity spherical silica as the base material, with aminopropyl silane as the bonded phase filler.
Depending on the mobile phase used, it can be operated in normal phase mode or reversed-phase mode, especially effective for separating sugars under acetonitrile/water conditions.
Because it uses high-purity silica, compounds that easily dissociate, like water-soluble vitamins, as well as basic compounds, can achieve sharper peak shapes.
You can also use simple conditions like n-hexane/ethyl acetate or chloroform/methanol, and the separation can be done without adding a polar solvent.
