| Deuterium Lamp Characteristics

1. Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.

2. Warranty Period: 2,000 hours of operation, equivalent to 3 months of full-load operation.

3. Noise and Drift: After a new deuterium lamp is installed, it typically reaches its optimal stability state about 36 hours after being put into use. Meanwhile, the instrument requires approximately 30 minutes to reach its optimal operating condition each time it is turned on.

5. End of the deuterium lamp’s lifespan: The deuterium lamp should be replaced when the instrument’s empty-cell absorbance or signal-to-noise ratio falls below the set threshold.
