DAISOPAK SP-ODS-BP series is a special reversed-phase chromatography column designed specifically for retaining weakly retained or non-retained hydrophilic and polar compounds on other bonded phases, offering higher separation selectivity.
- Its proprietary bonding technology effectively prevents the hydrophobic collapse phenomenon seen in traditional ODS phases under high aqueous mobile phase conditions, so even in pure water, the C18 chains can stay extended.
- Typical applications include the separation of biomolecules or metabolites, such as oligosaccharides, amino acids, small peptides, nucleotides, organic acids, and herbal medicine samples.
- DAISOPAK SP-ODS-BP series also uses full end-capping technology and offers separation selectivity similar to conventional C18 when analyzing hydrophobic compounds under typical reversed-phase mobile phase conditions.
- DAISOPAK SP-ODS-BP series has a stable baseline and high sensitivity, even under neutral pH conditions without buffer salts or ion-pair reagents, making it especially suitable for LC-MS, where adding buffer reagents isn't an option.
