30 nm pore size, narrow particle size distribution, ultra-high purity spherical silica gel. It uses improved high-density bonding and thorough end-capping techniques, making it perfect for analyzing and preparing high molecular weight compounds, especially proteins. Thanks to major improvements in durability and resistance to acids and bases, it can be used longer under acidic mobile phase conditions and can also withstand washing with sodium hydroxide solutions.
C4 bonding phase is suitable for compounds that are retained too strongly on ODS and C8 columns.
