12 nm pore size with a narrow particle size distribution, ultra-high purity spherical silica gel. It uses improved high-density bonding and thorough end-capping techniques, making it better suited for analyzing and preparing compounds with lower molecular weights, especially small peptides. Thanks to significant improvements in durability and acid/base resistance, it can be used for longer under acidic mobile phase conditions and can also withstand flushing with sodium hydroxide solutions.
ODS bonding is the most versatile and is the preferred choice for separating unknown compounds.
