What is a laboratory central purified water system?

The CENTRA® laboratory central purified water system replaces the traditional approach of designing and installing separate purified water systems at each individual point of use in laboratories. By combining an excellent design with centralized water production and on-site re-purification, this system effectively meets the diverse water quality and quantity requirements of various points of use, offers convenient operation, boasts high overall system cost-effectiveness, and enables scientifically managed water quality.

Third, with centralized management of purified water quality, the central purified water system can achieve scientific quality control over purified water equipment—whether from different brands, of varying ages, or employing different technologies—compared to decentralized systems. This ensures effective quality assurance and also helps reduce management costs.

CENTRA is a modular purification and distribution system designed to supply Grade 1–3 water to laboratory suites. This high-flow product series is ideally suited to meet the needs of medium- and large-scale laboratories, while also allowing for flexible integration of other equipment around the system to accommodate the evolving requirements of the lab.

System stability

Standardized products, having undergone extensive practical testing, undergo a complete Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the factory before leaving the production line. The factory is ISO9001 and ISO14000 certified, and the main equipment has obtained CE/ETL certification.

Automatic disinfection technology

The system features a built-in automatic disinfection program that can disinfect both the reverse osmosis membrane and pipelines inside the main unit, as well as the storage tank and external circulation system.

Scalability

With just a simple upgrade, the water production capacity can be increased from 200 L/h to 600 L/h. To meet specific water quality requirements, optional configurations are available to satisfy the system’s special needs for removing endotoxins, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other substances.

Flexibility

Other laboratories with water requirements can connect to the existing piping system using the standard sub-distribution system (CENTRA-RDS), thereby extending the existing distribution network.

Energy-saving and environmentally friendly

● Up to 75% water recovery rate, no chemicals required; 
● Operates with noise levels below 70 dB and features a wastewater discharge mode that poses no harm to the environment; 
● The chassis shell is made of high-purity PE material with excellent corrosion resistance. The pipelines are also made of high-purity PE material and feature an inner lining of PVDF-coated high-purity PE, making them recyclable and compliant with environmental protection requirements.

Data connectivity and traceability

The system is equipped with interfaces for connection to BMS/LIMS systems, allowing all operational data to be displayed on the BMS/LIMS system. Additionally, a cloud service platform called Hubgrade is provided, enabling users to view operational status, historical information, and download relevant data via their mobile phones or computers.

Maintain simplicity
