Gloveless Transfer, Simplifying Complexity

ABC Transfer® Ultra™ is the world’s first gloveless sterile transfer system, specially designed for the sterile transfer of bagged materials with connectors. It doesn’t require glove ports and combines cutting-edge, minimalist technology. It consists of three core components: the ABC Transfer® Gloveless α Interface, the ABC Transfer® Ultra™ Betacleanbag™ sterile transfer bag, and the ABC Transfer® Manual Feed Chute.

ABC Transfer® Ultra™ can be integrated into Restricted Access Barrier Systems (RABS) as a compliance upgrade solution for EU GMP Annex 1, or it can be directly mounted onto isolators.

Meets EU GMP Annex 1 requirements

ABC Transfer® Ultra™ system complies with EU GMP Annex 1 standards. The new regulations set higher protection requirements for sterile production management, which have a critical impact on the design of isolators and Restricted Access Barrier Systems (RABS). The key requirement is to eliminate glove ports as much as possible.

Ergonomics

Gloveless α Port

The installation space for isolator walls is extremely limited, so the new generation glove-free α interface comes with a foldable handle. You can unfold the handle when operating, designed ergonomically for a better experience; and fold it away when you need to open the isolator door to save space. The handle comes in various shapes and sizes to fit different isolator layouts.

Although Easyglide™ sealing technology has significantly reduced the size of risk areas, microbial studies jointly conducted by ABC Transfer and SKAN confirmed that in a Class C clean environment, surfaces in the risk area may still have up to 1 CFU residual. The ABC Transfer glove-free feed chute is designed specifically to block this potential contamination source while guiding materials precisely into hoppers or vibratory feeders. The chute is made of electropolished 316L stainless steel and meets cGMP requirements for high-pressure sterilization.。

Easy to use, efficient and fast
ABC Transfer® Ultra™ glove-free feed chute is designed with a purely mechanical structure and operates manually. This technical solution was finalized after in-depth discussions and validations with production operators and management. It combines ultra-high reliability, excellent ergonomic design, and outstanding operational efficiency. A complete open-close cycle can be finished in 30 seconds, allowing operators to have precise control over the entire material transfer process.

This feed chute is a plug-and-play system, taking up minimal space, requiring no external power, and no additional software. It’s a pre-validated system, so end users don’t need to carry out extra validation.

The glove-free feed chute can be disassembled and reassembled with one hand, without any tools throughout the process. Maintenance is simple, and the end user’s maintenance team can handle all work independently.

Flexible design, highly adaptable
Although ABC Transfer® Ultra™ system is a standardized solution, it can be flexibly customized to meet the personalized needs of end users. Its ultra-simple design, with no cables or electrical connectors, makes it easy to integrate into the compact installation space of modern isolators. The system supports two-way operation on both the left and right sides, can fit vertical isolator walls, and is also compatible with walls tilted up to 45°, perfectly matching various production line layout requirements.
