Pur C8 bonded with C8 functional groups, its stationary phase surface is less hydrophobic than C18. Utilizing this characteristic can separate substances with significant differences in hydrophobicity, thereby shortening retention time. At the same time, its spatial selectivity differs from C18, making it effective for substances that cannot achieve optimal separation on C18. The extended Bio series uses 300Å large pores, suitable for the separation of biomacromolecules such as peptides and proteins. The full series has a carbon load of 11% (Bio 5%) and a pH tolerance range of 2-9, making it an ideal complementary choice to C18 in method development.
