Peptide Synthesizer Symphony® X
Symphony ® X
Symphony ® X With its flexible, parallel peptide production capabilities, it has become the gold standard for automated peptide synthesis in research, optimization, and CGMP-compliant production laboratories worldwide.
As a first-class 24-channel peptide synthesizer, the Symphony X is an ideal choice for large-scale peptide production. Its core configuration features Ultra PurePep. ® Pathway’s proprietary technology enables on-demand synthesis or achieves unparalleled high-throughput parallel peptide synthesis.
Symphony ® X Prepare top-purity peptides with exceptional reliability and ease of operation. With 24 independent reaction channels, we maximize peptide synthesis efficiency and flexibility.
Ultra PurePep ® Pathway — Pure Reliability
Ultra PurePep ® Pathway Each reaction vessel is equipped with a dedicated microfluidic matrix valve block flow path, minimizing cross-contamination to the greatest extent possible. This enables laboratories to prepare ultra-pure peptides in multiple reaction vessels simultaneously. The system uses nitrogen and vacuum to deliver all fluids; its diaphragm is resistant to harsh chemicals, features zero dead volume, ensures no cross-contamination, and consistently delivers outstanding performance. In contrast, other systems on the market rely on off-the-shelf valves that are prone to leaks or corrosion, leading to cross-contamination and rapid failure when exposed to the demanding chemicals used in peptide synthesis. Symphony ® X features Ultra PurePep. ® Pathway: All fluid transfers are verified by optical sensors, ensuring reliable peptide purity every time.
24 independent channels
Symphony ® X It is the world’s first peptide synthesizer featuring 24 fully independent channels, offering on-demand synthesis capabilities and ultra-high throughput—making it a cost-effective solution for high-demand peptide production. You can run different sequences, scales, and methods simultaneously across multiple reactors. Each reactor can be started, stopped, or paused at any time—giving you the flexibility of having 24 synthesizers at your disposal!
Controllable Induction Heating
High-efficiency heating allows the set temperature to be reached in an extremely short time. This technology is fully compatible with vortex mixing, ensuring uniform temperature distribution. Other heating systems that rely on nitrogen gas mixing may result in uneven temperature distribution, thereby affecting the consistency of chemical reactions.
Real-time UV monitoring
Through Symphony ® The Intellisynth real-time UV monitoring feature of the X instrument minimizes trial-and-error to the greatest extent when synthesizing challenging sequences. What sets our UV monitoring apart? While other systems only monitor the waste stream, we directly monitor the reaction solution during the mixing process—this is precisely why we can precisely control the deprotection reaction time (rather than merely controlling the number of cycles). Real-time UV monitoring ensures that the reaction is completed efficiently and prevents unnecessary waste of reagents.
Pre-activation
Multiple reactors can now be pre-activated in parallel. Especially suitable for the addition of sterically hindered amino acids! In Symphony ® Optimize your DIC/HOBt chemical method on X and proceed directly to scale-up production.
Special reagent addition
With Single-Shot technology, expensive specialized reagents can be added to any reactor without the need for pre-rinsing—and not a single drop is wasted! No manual intervention required, saving costs! Symphony ® X is equipped with up to 40 amino acid sites, capable of meeting any chemical requirement.
Automatic cutting
Symphony ® X Equipped with fully automatic and completely customizable cleavage functionality, no additional modules required. You can choose from immediate cleavage (Fmoc only), cleavage at the end of synthesis, or cleavage at a specified date and time. The cleaved peptides are conveniently collected in user-friendly 50 mL centrifuge tubes. All Protein Technologies synthesizers are constructed from robust materials resistant to TFA, allowing for year-round cleavage operations without any concerns. If you don’t have any cleavage needs, you can flexibly repurpose your Symphony. ® X’s collection site is used as an additional amino acid site.
Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ)
Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) support services verify and document that the supply, installation, and operation of your instrument comply with GPT specifications. GPT-certified field service engineers will inspect critical components to ensure the system operates properly during automated synthesis processes, and provide accompanying documentation to help you meet regulatory requirements, offering robust support for your operations in regulated environments such as cGMP.
