Determination of Moisture Content in Nicosulfuron Technical Grade Substance


Reference standard: GB 29383-2012 Nicosulfuron technical grade substance

[ Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for pyrazosulfuron-ethyl technical grade, the test methods, as well as the labeling, packaging, storage, transportation, and acceptance criteria.

This standard applies to the technical grade of nicosulfuron, which consists of nicosulfuron itself and impurities generated during its production.

Note: For other names, structural formulas, and basic physicochemical parameters of nicosulfuron, see Appendix A.

【Requirement】

Appearance: A grayish-white to earthy-yellow solid in granular or powdered form, free from any visible foreign matter and added modifiers.

Technical indicators: The technical grade of nicosulfuron shall also meet the requirements specified in Table 1.

[Experimental Method]

Determination of moisture content: Perform the test according to the "Karl Fischer method" specified in GB/T 1600. The use of a micro moisture analyzer with comparable accuracy is permitted.
